<a href="https://metamask.io/card">MetaMask</a> has launched its Mastercard-powered crypto debit card nationwide in the United States. Users can now spend digital assets directly from their self-custody wallets at any merchant accepting Mastercard.
The product piloted in the UK and EU throughout 2024. It converts crypto to fiat only at the moment of purchase. No need to load funds onto a custodial card beforehand.
