That five-day streak adds up. Approximately $162 million in cumulative net flows into U.S. spot Ethereum products, according to Decrypt and Crypto Briefing. They spent months trailing Bitcoin inflows. Demand for <a href="https://www.thecoinzone.com/regulation/clarity-act-stablecoins-eth-defi-explained/" data-wpil-monitor-id="2561">ETH exposure through regulated</a> wrappers was inconsistent through late 2024 and into 2025. The landscape&#x27;s changed. Spot products now exist for Bitcoin, Ethereum, Solana, and XRP, as CoinDesk noted in early July coverage. Cross-asset flow comparisons actually mean something now.
One day of divergence isn&#x27;t a rotation. Five straight days of inflows totaling over $160 million is different. That&#x27;s happening against outflows in Bitcoin, Solana, and XRP on the same session. Institutional observers watch patterns like that.
What&#x27;s driving it? Unclear. Could be valuation arguments gaining traction in <a href="https://www.thecoinzone.com/tradfi/margin-trading-and-leverage-is-dangerous/" data-wpil-monitor-id="2557">traditional finance</a>.
